Scary SEO.

I have been working on SEO the last week or so on this site & have managed to get my site up to 93% Google friendly from a very scary 72% by using IBP!

I personally think though, although we all try to attain better rankings through linking, social book marking, keyword descriptions & the like, it may be better to leave your site as it is for a while because Google & friends will not index your site as often as you would wish. Therefore I will attempt to leave this site alone for a while, with the exception of maybe adding a few additional links to my links pages & maybe replacing a couple of products on my home page to let Google, Yahoo etc Know that there is still someone there!

In addition to all this SEO work, I have now installed a website translator on a14ebooks but what a nightmare I had tidying up the html to keep the site W3C XHTML valid. (If anyone gets any problems with their website translator, don’t come to me I’ll never remember how I got around it!) It now shows all the maps instead of a scroll bar because of my “repairs” but it still works just the same!

By the way, for some unknown reason, while I have been spending all of my time on a14ebooks my other site, (a1ebooksonline) has risen from PR2 to PR3; (maybe another reason to leave things alone for a while) thanks Google!
